Product Introduction
Product Details
The working principle of the flashlight can be clearly divided into the following parts:
Power supply:
The flashlight uses batteries (such as dry batteries, rechargeable batteries, etc.) as a power source to provide the required electrical energy for the flashlight.
Circuit connection:
The battery is connected to the light (bulb or LED) of the flashlight through an electrical circuit. The circuit usually includes a circuit board, which acts as a control center for the flashlight and can adjust the amount of current to control the brightness of the bulb.
Luminous body luminous:
The illuminant may be a conventional incandescent bulb or a modern LED lamp.
Incandescent bulb: When current passes through a filament with a large resistance, it will generate a lot of heat, making the filament very hot, and then emit visible light. This is the process of converting heat energy into light energy, that is, "light due to heat".
LED (Light Emitting Diode): An LED is a semiconductor device that, when a voltage is applied to a P-N junction, electrons flow from an N-type semiconductor to a P-type semiconductor, while holes flow from the P-type semiconductor to the N-type semiconductor. When electrons recombine with holes, they release energy, which is emitted in the form of photons, producing light of a specific color. In order to obtain white light, a blue LED can be used in combination with a yellow phosphor, and the two are mixed to form white light.
Switch control:
Flashlights are usually equipped with a switch to control the on and off of the circuit so that the bulb can be turned on or off at any time.
Brightness adjustment (optional):
Some flashlights have the function of adjusting the brightness, which is usually achieved by controlling the current. The circuit board will adjust the intensity of the current according to the user's requirements, and then control the brightness of the light.
Other components:
The flashlight also includes components such as a shell and a reflective cup. The shell protects the internal components, while the reflective cup is used to gather and project light to improve the lighting effect of the flashlight.
In summary, the working principle of the flashlight is to provide electrical energy through the battery, through the circuit connection and control, make the luminous body (bulb or LED) emit light, and control the on and off of the circuit through the switch to realize the lighting function. At the same time, some flashlights also have additional functions such as brightness adjustment.
